Alright, grab your popcorn and prepare for a web-slinging adventure like no other, today we review “Madame Web” available now on Netflix

Let’s  dive into the tangled world of "Madame Web”. This cinematic masterpiece, follows the exploits of Dakota Johnson, who takes on the role of Cassie Web, a woman with the unique ability to see into the future and manipulate the web of fate. It's like "Groundhog Day" meets "Spider-Man," but with more Pepsi product placements.

The film, directed by S.J. Clarkson, attempts to spin a web of intrigue and excitement, but instead, it leaves us tangled in a web of confusion. The plot, if you can call it that, revolves around Cassie's quest to protect three teenage girls from a ruthless assassin who wants to use her power for his own agenda. It's a story as old as time, or at least as old as the last "Spider-Man" movie.

The cast, which includes the likes of Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O'Connor, and Isabela Merced, does their best to navigate the convoluted storyline, but even their collective charisma can't save this sinking ship. The dialogue is so wooden, it could be used to build a treehouse, and the special effects are about as special as a participation trophy.

Despite its many flaws, "Madame Web" does have its moments of unintentional hilarity. The film is set in the early 2000s, a time when Britney Spears' "Toxic" was the height of fashion, and Pepsi was the drink of choice for superheroes everywhere. The movie's attempts to capture the spirit of the era are about as successful as a spider trying to catch a fly with a blindfold on.

Madame Web is a film that tries to be many things – a superhero origin story, a time-traveling adventure, a coming-of-age tale – but ultimately fails to be any of them. It's a cinematic web that's more tangled than a ball of yarn in the paws of a hyperactive kitten. If you're looking for a fun, action-packed superhero movie, you might want to stick with the classics. But if you're in the mood for a good laugh, "Madame Web" might just be the film for you.

We give it a Geaux Watch score of: 6/10
