Carnival Cruises Sails into the Digital Age with SpaceX's Starlink Internet: A New Era of Connectivity at Sea!

Carnival Corporation, the world's largest cruise company, announced today that its entire global fleet of over 90 ships is now equipped with SpaceX's Starlink global internet. This monumental achievement was celebrated by Carnival CEO Josh Weinstein, who hailed Starlink as a game-changer for the cruise industry.

"Starlink has been a game-changer for the onboard connectivity experience our cruise lines deliver to their guests, and we've already seen a surge in guest satisfaction and positive feedback from the super-fast and reliable Wi-Fi service we provide onboard," said Weinstein.

The installation of Starlink, SpaceX's satellite internet service, across Carnival's global fleet marks a significant milestone in the cruise industry's pursuit of seamless connectivity at sea. With this upgrade, guests can now enjoy high-speed internet comparable to on-land experiences, enabling them to stay connected, stream content, and work remotely, no matter where their voyage takes them.

This technological leap not only enhances the onboard experience for guests but also revolutionizes operational efficiency. The added bandwidth enables real-time monitoring and data sharing between ship and shore teams, and the quick deployment of new services and features while at sea.

Carnival Corporation began its fleetwide rollout of Starlink in December 2022, starting with Carnival Cruise Line and AIDA Cruises before expanding to its other world-class cruise brands, including Princess Cruises, Holland America Line, Seabourn, P&O Cruises (Australia), Costa Cruises, P&O Cruises (UK), and Cunard.

This move by Carnival Corporation positions the company at the forefront of the cruise industry's digital transformation, setting a new standard for onboard connectivity and guest satisfaction. It also underscores the company's commitment to providing a superior cruise experience that rivals the best land-based vacations.

As Carnival's ships sail into the future powered by Starlink's high-speed internet, guests can look forward to a more connected, more enjoyable cruise experience.
